Duralite Mix is a unique thermoplastic composite sheet material consisting from woven Carbon fiber and Glass fiber layers with a thermoplastic matrix. The continuous weaving provides an high resistance against flexing and torsional movement at a low material volume and unitary weight.
The unique thermoplastic matrix allows the Duralite Mix sheets to be deformed for 15-60 sec. after heat activating.
Applying pressure melts the Carbon/Glass filament and the thermoplastic matrix together creating an even higher material stiffness.
